UPDATED. Presidential son and namesake Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos was the first among 215 lawmakers who signed the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte on February 5.
Two days later, on February 7, the House announced 25 additional signatories or a total of 240.
Dinagat Islands Rep. Alan Ecleo completed the one-third vote required by the 1987 Constitution for the “third mode” to impeach the vice president. The House has 306 members and he was 102nd in the list of signatories.
Presidential cousin and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez was the last to sign among the first batch of signatories.
Davao del Sur Rep. John Tracy Cagas signed the complaint the only one out of 11 district representatives from Davao region.
Not even PBA Party-list Rep. Margarita Nograles Almario, a member of the Duterte family’s rival political clan in Davao City, signed the complaint.
But more than half of Mindanao lawmakers supported the bid to remove the daughter of former President Rodrigo Duterte, the country’s first president from Mindanao.
A total 41 out of 60 Mindanao district lawmakers were among the first signatories. Two others signed on February 7 or a total of 43.
In the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), 7 out of 8 lawmakers are among the signatories. The only exception was Basilan Rep. Mujiv Hataman.

At least 101 lawmakers from Luzon and 40 from the Visayas also signed the complaint.
Former president and Pampanga Rep. Gloria Arroyo did not sign.
Party-list groups
Only 33 party-list groups in the House of Representatives initially backed the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Eight more later added their signatures, increasing the vote from the party-list groups to 41.
Senatorial candidates
Among senatorial candidates in the lower House, ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro backed the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.
The others did not. Senatorial candidates Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo, Agri Rep. Wilbert Lee, Sagip Party-List Rep. Rodante Marcoleta and 1-Rider Party-list Rep. Bonifacio Bosita did not sign the complaint.
But Tulfo's sister-in-law, fellow ACT-CIS Rep. Jocelyn Tulfo, and her son, Quezon City Rep. Ralph Wendell Tulfo, signed the complaint.
Bosita's colleague at 1-Rider Party-List group, Rep. Ramon Rodriguo Gutierrez, also signed and will serve as prosecutor.
All three relatives of re-electionist Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. did not sign: Agimat Party-List Rep. Bryan Revilla and Cavite representatives Lani Mercado Revilla and Ramon "Jolo" Revilla III.
Cavite Rep. Aniela Tolentino, niece of re-electionist Sen. Francis Tolentino, signed the complaint.
Makati Rep. Luis Campos Jr., the husband of senatorial candidate and Makati Mayor Abigail Binay, did not sign. — PCIJ.org
