Former senator Bongbong Marcos, the son and namesake of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, continued to enjoy a wide lead over his rivals for the presidency, based on a poll conducted by polling firm Pulse Asia.

Fifty-six percent of the respondents said they would vote for Marcos if elections were held during the survey period, April 16-21 2022.

Marcos was followed by Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni" Robredo who got the support of 23% of the respondents.
