The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) and the Photojournalists' Center of the Philippines Inc. (PCP) named 12 visual journalists to receive grants and mentoring under the Capturing Human Rights fellowship program. 

The recipients are Lauren Alimondo, Bernice Beltran, Sharlene Festin, Dada Grifon, Gerimara Manuel, Orange Omengan, Larry Monserate Piojo, Mark Saludes, EC Toledo, Ria Torrente, Bernadette Uy, and Pau Villanueva.

The fellowship will fund stories on pressing human rights issues in the country. They will also receive mentoring from the country's distinguised visual journalists Xyza Cruz Bacani, Gigie Cruz, Raffy Lerma, and Luis Liwanag.

The selection of the fellows culminates a workshop jointly conducted by PCIJ and PCP, where participants pitched their stories for funding.
