Rep. Banal offers to explain

HOUSE DEPUTY MAJORITY Leader Jorge Banal is offering to testify before the impeachment court to present his side after he was named as one of the first to have come across the controversial “leaked” and “faked” client signature card allegedly filled out by Chief Justice Renato Corona.

Just as Senator-Judges prepared to call it a day, Majority Leader Tito Sotto announced that Banal was present in the session hall, and has offered to appear before the impeachment court to explain.

The impeachment court went into recess to discuss whether to allow Banal to explain his side tonight.
