not under oath – Enrile
PRESIDING OFFICER Juan Ponce Enrile rejected an attempt by prosecution lawyers to make a powerpoint presentation before the Senate Impeachment Court this afternoon, saying powerpoint presentations are not made under oath.
Prosecution lawyer Arlene Bag-ao was set to make her presentation to prove Article III of the impeachment complaint when she announced that she was going to make a powerpoint presentation.
However, Enrile stepped in immediately by saying that the Impeachment Court cannot swear in a powerpoint presentation.
Instead, Enrile ordered Bag-ao to proceed immediately to her examination of her first witness. Bag-ao was forced to abandon her powerpoint presentation.
